treated with fixative to prevent any fading.

Alison Craddock
Katrina Dallamore
I spent many years working as an illustrator and graphic designer before developing my practice as a
painter and print maker.
Working from observation in the natural environment moved my work towards an abstracted practice.
Recently I have been incorporating gold metal leaf into my work which has added another dimension.
I am intrigued by the tenuous link between the figurative and the abstract, which I am constantly aware of,
especially in the landscape.

do things. There is a whole new art world out there now. I feel that I’m only just scratching the
surface.

Veronica Liote
I started painting on porcelain when I was living in the South of France. So much of my work has a provencal influence both in the subject and the colour. Painting on silk was in fact invented in India but subsequently much used in China, often as wall hangings. There are several different methods of painting directly on silk. the silk is put on a stretcher and I have painted directly onto it. All of these paintings are copied from traditional botanic flower drawings. I find it stimulating to explore different mediums and supports as well as using oil paints. I have now gone back to drawings and am working with pen and ink and watercolours.
Bob Martin
Bob paints in oil on canvas, mainly of local landscapes, painting directly from the subject. He uses only 3
hues and white on a dark ultramarine background in a manner inspired by his study of Dr. Max Luscher’s
colour theory. His style follows the English and French Post-Impressionists, particularly the Camden Town
Group. He also creates medieval woodcuts, printing them on a replica Guttenberg prototype printing press.
He is also skilled at other medieval crafts such as Coppersmithing and Enamelling which he demonstrates
at the Sandwich Medieval Centre.

I paint in all media, but especially in Watercolour and acrylic . Combining these with additional black pen and ink in mixed media. Terry Scales
I have been taking both analogue and digital images for the past 55 years and have
always had a love of the Daguerreotype image process and the early Pictorialist
movement which took the medium of photography and reinvented it as an art form,
placing beauty, tonality, and composition above creating an accurate visual record.
In this Panel I have endeavoured to emulate both the Daguerreotype process and
the early pictorial style using digital processes.
