Richard Rozze and Jeff Alexander – Sunday Sessions – Live Music @ the Hop and Huffkin

This Sunday Richard Rozze has invited Ian East from the local Prog Rock band Gong to perform tracks from his solo album “Inner Paths”. They will be joined by Kent based percussionist Zinga Rabhi.

Richard Rozze – Guitars
Richard can be seen performing in a variety of contexts on the jazz and pop scene and has earned a reputation as a creative and flexible musician. Richard fronts the Richard Rozze Group featuring Paul Booth, Malcolm Edmonstone, Dave Whitford and Andrew Bain. Their debut album ‘Learning To Fly‘ is out now on Pathway Records.Richard has worked alongside musicians of many genres including, Paul Booth (saxophone) Brian Hanlon (singer/ songwriter) Dana Gillespie (vocals), Jeremy Peynton Jones (composer), Derek Nash (saxophone) Trevor Tomkins (drums), John Horler (piano).

Jeff Alexander – Acoustic Guitar
Master of all things stringed, Jeff has explored early music styles on the Lute through to acoustic folk, latin, flamenco and electric guitar styles.
Jeff teaches guitar and lectures music styles at Canterbury Christ Church University Notable performances include Rodrigo’s Concerto De Aranjuez in Canterbury Cathedral. Jeff has a much anticipated solo guitar album coming out later in the year. The album includes original compositions and arrangements of compositions by artists such as Pierre Bensusan and Alan Stivell.
