Events for 2017 are currently being planned.

Here is what we did last year.

Music Programme: 2016.

Arts Week 2016 featured free music on Sunday afternoon in St Peter’s Church, a Jazz Club led by Richard Rozze on Wednesday, a piano recital on Thursday and the Becker Ensemble concert ‘The Magic of Mozart on Friday.

Sunday 18th in St Peter’s – a free event with a programme to be announced soon. Free event.

Tuesday 20th – Music in St Peter’s Church.  6.00pm to 8.00pm.  Led by Simon Dundas.  Performers to be announced soon.  Free event.

Wednesday 21st – A Jazz club in the Empire cinema led by Richard Rozze.  Entry £7.00.  Bar and food available.

Thursday 22nd September – Piano Recital

At 1.30 and 3.30 pm

Julian Stowell  gave a ‘salon’ style piano recital in the drawing room of his family home at The Ramparts in Sandwich. Julian is an enthusiastic amateur currently studying under Gawain Douglas.

We are hoping for another one this year

Saturday 24th: Last year’s Poetry workshops and readings in the Fleur de lis, Delf Street, Sandwich.

Nancy Gaffield (one of whose books was recently turned into an opera at Uni. of Kent), Victoria Field and Gary Studley led writing workshops.
